Privacy Policy

Nudge ("we", "our", "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights as a user of our platform.
1. Information we collect
When you create a business account, we collect your business name, WhatsApp phone number, owner contact details, vertical/industry, and booking URL. When you upload knowledge documents (PDFs, images), we store those files and the text we extract from them. We also store the conversation logs between your customers and your Nudge AI assistant in order to display them in your dashboard and improve replies.
2. How we use your information
We use your data solely to operate and improve the Nudge service for your business. This includes: powering AI replies using your business context and uploaded knowledge; displaying conversations and metrics in your dashboard; sending you owner alerts when a conversation is escalated; and operating the automatic follow-up engine. We do not use your data to train AI models for other customers or businesses.
3. Data sharing
We do not sell your data. We share data only with the third-party services we use to operate Nudge: our cloud database provider (for storage), our LLM provider (Groq) for generating AI replies, and Meta's WhatsApp Cloud API for message delivery. All data shared with these providers is governed by their respective data processing agreements.
4. Data retention
Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your account, we will retain your data for 60 days before permanent deletion, giving you time to export anything you need. You can request immediate deletion by emailing hello@nudgecrew.com.
5. Security
All data is encrypted in transit using TLS 1.2+. Data at rest is encrypted using AES-256. Authentication uses signed JWT tokens with business-level data isolation — each business can only access its own conversations, customers, and settings. We scan all user-supplied inputs for prompt injection attempts before they reach our AI systems.
6. Your rights
You have the right to: access the personal data we hold about you; correct inaccurate data; request deletion of your data; export your conversation history. To exercise any of these rights, email hello@nudgecrew.com and we will respond within 5 business days.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our product evolves. We will notify you of material changes via email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of Nudge after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
